Paul GOLDMAN (1900-1986) is a Hungarian photographer, born in Budapest in 1900. He emigrated in Palestine in 1940. GOLDMAN worked as an independent photographer for Israeli newspapers and international press services during the 1940s and 1950s. He did a photojournalist job which had little recognition at that time, but nonetheless attractive. He died in Israel in 1986. His photographs began to be recognized after his death. David RUBINGER, Israeli photojournalist-photographer, said of him: “At the beginning of my career, a man was at the top of photojournalism, and this man was Paul Goldman. No one can take his place. [2].”
