In the heart of Denali National Park throne Wonder Lake, where sometimes, on days of good weather, the Denali (ex Mt McKinley) is reflected. It is one of the largest lakes in the park and the view it offers makes it one of the favorite subject for visitors. The panorama attracts many photographers, including Ansel ADAMS who immortalized it in 1947 from another angle.
In Bradford WASHBURN’s artwork, like in Ansel ADAMS’, the landscape is divided into layers. The expanses of land, water and mountains form successive layers that punctuate the image.
