Brett WESTON manages to give the Saguaro a mysterious and almost worrying look. This cactus is photographed in light low angle shot, thus accentuating its height. It overflows the frame, the photography appears too small to capture this giant, whose heights reach nearly 20 meters. Metaphorically this means that the American West exceeds the representation we can have. We perceive only part of its immensity, while the other remains in the shadows.
