AS11-37-5528 (July 20, 1969): This photo of astronaut Neil ARMSTRONG, commander of Apollo 11, was taken inside the lunar module (LM) Eagle while it was resting on the lunar surface. Astronauts ARMSTRONG and Buzz ALDRIN, pilot of the lunar module, had already completed their historic extra-vehicular activity (EVA) at the time this photo was taken. This is one of the very rare portrait of ARMSTRONG made during Apollo 11 mission.
